Wood County Health Care Providers Get Active with Healthy Food Policies

Health Care organizations are a prominent part of the Wood County community. They bring new life into our families, care for our sick and injured, and employ our residents.  Wood County's Workforce Profile identified health care providers as the second and ninth largest employers in 2009. Get Active will partner with these organizations to implement healthy food policies at their facilities. By identifying new ways to offer more nutritious options, health care organizations will promote well-being and prevention. Wood County residents deserve access to healthy foods in health care environments and we are getting active to make that happen.
